Configure IBM i5/OS Directory Services for use with WebSphere Commerce

If you use IBM i5/OS Directory Services, follow the steps on this page.

Prerequisite

To configure IBM i5/OS Directory Services, complete the following steps:

  1. Add a suffix to IBM i5/OS Directory Services.

  2. Create bootstrap entries for the directory server. You might customize these names to match your own settings. For example, use "dc=ibm,dc=com" instead of "o=root organization" and "cn=users,dc=ibm,dc=com" instead of "o=default organization, o=root organization". Refer to the documentation for your version of IBM i5/OS Directory Services for instructions on how to complete these tasks.

  3. Next task: After you have completed configuring your directory server, install Member Manager.
