Administration Console

The Administration Console allows a Site Administrator to control a site or store by completing administrative operations and configuration tasks. Upon opening the Administration Console, you select the language in which you want to work. The tasks that you are authorized to perform display on the Administration Console home page through various menus. These tasks are based on the user group names (roles) and authority levels.

User group names are not translated in the Administration Console. All names will be displayed in English only.

To return to the Administration Console home page, click the Home link in the top right corner of the screen. To change the store or language you are working with at any time, click the Select icon, found in the upper left corner.

Ensure that you log off the Administration Console before you log on to another Administration tool (such as the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator or the Organization Administration Console). If you access another tool without first logging out of the Administration Console any unsaved work will be lost, and an error message will be displayed.
