Configuration Manager

To configure a WebSphere Commerce or a WebSphere Commerce Payments instance, you should use the Configuration Manager.

Configuration Manager lets you enable and configure various components of WebSphere Commerce and WebSphere Commerce Payments. Whenever possible, components should be enabled through the Configuration Manager rather than by modifying the WebSphere Commerce configuration file.

If you have not created a WebSphere Commerce instance, refer to the WebSphere Commerce installation guide for instructions. For information on where to find the WebSphere Commerce installation guides, refer to the Where to find more information page.

Configuration Manager is not available in the WebSphere Commerce development environment. For information about configuring the various components of WebSphere Commerce and WebSphere Commerce Payments for use with the development environment, refer to the "Configuring WebSphere Commerce Developer" part of the WebSphere Commerce Developer Installation Guide.
