Select a server to configure logging and tracing
To select the server for which you want to configure logging and trace settings.
Application Servers
This page lists appservers in the cell and the nodes holding the appservers. The status indicates whether a server is running, stopped, or encountering problems. If using WAS ND, this panel also shows the status of the appservers.
When you select an appserver, a panel is displayed that will allow you to choose which log or trace task to configure for that appserver.
To view this admin console page, click Troubleshooting > Logs and Trace
- Server
Logical name of the server.
- Node
Name of the node for the appserver.
- Host name
Name of the host for the appserver.
- Version
Version for the appserver.
- Type
Type of appserver.
- Status
Indicates whether the appserver is started or stopped. (ND only)
Note that if the status is Unavailable, the node agent is not running in that node, and restart the node agent before we can start the server.
