Custom properties [Settings]

Arbitrary name-value pairs of data, where the name is a property key and the value is a string value that can be used to set internal system configuration properties. Defining a new property enables you to configure a setting beyond that which is available in the admin console.

To view this pane in the console...

Service integration > Buses > bus_name > [Topology] Messaging engines > engine_name > [Additional Properties] Custom properties > property_name .

Configuration tab

The Configuration tab shows configuration properties for this object. These property values are preserved even if the runtime environment is stopped then restarted. See the information center task descriptions for information about how to apply configuration changes to the runtime environment.

Name of the property.

Description of the name and value pair. The description should help to differentiate this pair for other defined pairs.

Specifies a value that the admin console and some host tools use to validate the contents of the value of this property.
