Mail session collection
To view mail sessions defined under the parent mail provider.
We can access this admin console page in one of two ways:
- Resources > Mail > Mail Sessions
- Resources > Mail > Mail Providers > mail_provider > Mail Sessions
- Name
Administrative name of the Java Mail session object.
- Scope
Scope at which the mail session was created. Only Java Mail applications that are installed in this scope can use this mail session.
- Provider
Mail provider that WAS uses for this mail session.
- JNDI Name
Java ™ Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) name for the resource, including any naming subcontexts.
This name provides the link between the platform binding information for resources defined in the client application deployment descriptor and the actual resources bound into JNDI by the platform.
- Description
Specifies an optional description for the admin records.
- Category
Specifies an optional collection for classifying or grouping sessions.
