Core group access point settings
To configure the core group access points. The core group access point defines the set of core group bridge servers that provide access to the core group. A core group bridge server is an appserver configured to run the core group bridge service. Each core group access point has a collection of bridge interfaces. See the topic Bridge interface settings for more information about bridge interfaces.
Typically, you should not have to manually create a core group access point because a core group access point is automatically created whenever you create a core group. If multiple core group access points exist for a core group, then each core group access point must have the same set of bridge interfaces. For example, given the following situation:
- Core group access points CGAP_DF1 and CGAP_DF2 both exist for the DefaultCoreGroup core group.
- Access point CGAP_DF1 has server1 as a bridge interface.
- Access point CGAP_DF2 has server1 and server2 as bridge interfaces,
Server1 and server2 do not function correctly, and an error message similar to the following message displays in SystemOut.log:
CWRCB0201E: The core group bridge service could not be started due to a configuration error: Core group access points [DefaultCoreGroup:CGAP_DF1] and [DefaultCoreGroup:CGAP_DF2] must have bridge interfaces on the same set of node/server combinations. To access this admin console page ...
