To view the list of cluster member templates that exist for this cluster. To edit the server properties of a template, click the name of that template.

Usually, only one template exists that we can use to create additional members for a cluster. However, if a cluster includes nodes that are at different versions of WAS ND, a different template exists for each of these versions. For example, if a cluster has cluster members residing on both a V6.1 node and a V7.0 node, the cluster has two templates. The V 6.1. template is used when creating an additional cluster member on the V 6.1 node, and the V7.0 template is used when creating an additional cluster member on the V7.0 node.

If we modify a template, all new cluster members are created with the server property settings of the modified template. However, the property settings of existing cluster members do not change. If we make any change to a cluster member template, you should make the same change to all of the existing cluster members.
