Class loader viewer service settings


To configure the server to start the class loader viewer service when the server starts. The Class Loader Viewer helps you diagnose problems with class loaders.

Servers > Server Types > WebSphere appservers > server_name > Class loader viewer service.

Class loaders find and load class files. For a deployed application to run properly, the class loaders that affect the application and its modules must be configured so that the application can find the files and resources that it needs. Diagnose problems with class loaders can be complicated and time-consuming. To diagnose and fix the problems more quickly, enable the class loader viewer service on this page and then use the console Class loader viewer to examine class loaders and the classes loaded by each class loader. Click Troubleshooting > Class loader viewer to access the Class loader viewer in the console.

Enable service at server startup

Whether or not the server attempts to start the class loader viewer service when the server starts.

The default is not to start the class loader viewer service.
