Foreign buses
To exchange messages with other messaging networks, configure a foreign bus.
Foreign buses encapsulate information related to the remote messaging network, such as...
- Type of the foreign bus
- Whether messaging applications are allowed to send messages to the foreign bus
A foreign bus can represent:
- A bus in the same cell as the local bus
- A bus in a different cell from the local bus
- A WebSphere MQ network
When buses are interconnected, applications can send messages to destinations that are defined on other buses. Published messages can also span multiple buses.
Avoid creating circular link dependencies...
Bus A --> Bus B --> Bus C --> Bus A
Circular links are not supported by the bus.
