WAS V6 separates read only binary data from customizable configuration data. The installation procedure provides the binary data while the profile creation after installation provides the configuration data. This approach allows you to set up independent instances of WAS that share one set of binaries. We need to decide where to put the binaries and the profile data in your HA environment. There are two options:
