Web module proxy server configuration settings

Use this page to specify proxy server configuration settings for the Web module.

To view this console page, click Applications > Enterprise Application > application > Manage Modules > Web_module_name > Web Module Proxy Configuration.

Name

Name of the proxy server.

Enable Proxy

Select Enable Proxy to enable proxy server to route requests to this Web module. Deselect Enable Proxy to disable routing using the proxy server.

Web Module Transport Protocol

Protocol that the proxy server uses when communicating with this Web module.

Choose the protocol in the Web module transport protocol field if you want to use a specific transport protocol, such as HTTP, for the protocol between the proxy server and the appserver. This is an alternative to using the protocol that is used by the client to communicate with the proxy server. For example, in order to perform SSL termination, which is also known as SSL offload, for HTTPS traffic for the Web module, select HTTP for the transport protocol. HTTPS protocol is for advanced configurations and is not commonly used.

Custom Properties

Specify additional custom properties for this runtime component. Some components use custom configuration properties that are defined by this option.
