Create the user profiler rule

Ensure you have properly followed the steps in Modify resource collection properties.

1. Within the Pers_Offers folder, click New > Rule

2. Fill in the following values and click on Profile.

   

   1. In the New Rule field, type Pers Offers User Profiler.

   2. Select Profiler from the Rule Type drop-down list.

3. Type the profile name Gold and click Save.

   

4. Click Resource.Attribute.

   

5. Select Pers_Offers_User on the left.

   

6. Select Customertype on the right and click Save.

   

7. Click value.

   

8. Select Gold and click Save.

   

9. Click add Profile.

   

10. Complete the rule to look like the following example.

    

11. Click Save.

We can now create some additional advanced rules for the personalized portlet.
