  3. Read Installing Lotus Domino and the Extended Products to locate information to help you install the required back-end servers.

  4. Follow the instructions to configure IBM WebSphere Portal to use Domino and Extended Products Portlets: IBM Lotus Domino, IBM Lotus QuickPlace, and IBM Lotus Sametime, and their related portlets.

  5. If necessary, review reference and troubleshooting information on the Domino and Extended Products Portlets. See Reference topics for collaboration.

  6. If you intend to use the Inline QuickPlace or Domino Document Manager portlets, add them to pages. For more information, see Editing layout and content in Customizing pages.

  7. i5/OS: It is recommended that you use the IBM Web Administration for iSeries Create WebSphere Portal wizard when configuring each WebSphere Portal installation. The wizard creates the necessary servers (HTTP and IBM WAS ), configures the server, the database, and security (LDAP) for WebSphere Portal, and deploys the portlets installed with the WebSphere Portal product. We can edit the portal installation configuration manually after you have used the WebSphere Portal wizard.
