The build definition file must identify product features to include in the customized installation package (CIP). Select the features to include. Features that you include in the CIP are displayed when an installer uses the CIP to install the product.

Features

Required features are listed with the word "Required" appended to the feature name, but are not selectable. Some products contain features that include in the CIP to have a viable product to install.

For example, the WAS products all have the core product files feature. Without the feature, you could not install the product.

Optional features that you do not include in the CIP are not available when an installer uses the CIP to install the product.

For example, if you do not want installers in your company to have the ability to install the API documentation, do not include the Javadocs feature in the CIP for a WAS product.

Select optional features

Click Select All to select all optional features in the list.

Click Clear All to clear all previously selected optional features.
