Identifying new and changed information

This topic provides tips for identifying new and changed information in the information center.

Identifying topics that have changed

View the Site Map , which is available from the table of contents, to see a list of the topics that are included in the documentation. Topics that contain substantive technical updates for a particular point release are indicated with a graphic. For example, an n.0.1 graphic is displayed next to the title of topics containing technical changes that apply to users of Vn.0.1 and later.

Only substantive changes to technical content are identified. Other editorial changes and general improvements to the layout and usability are not marked.

Time stamps at the bottom of each topic show you the most recent posting of a topic. However, they do not indicate whether the technical content within the topic has changed.

Identifying changed content within topics

Paragraphs, task steps, and other information with substantive technical changes are marked with a graphical indicator. For example, an n.0.1 graphic is displayed at the start of a paragraph containing technical changes that apply to users of Vn.0.1 and later.
