Displaying administrative lists of generic messaging resources
Use this task with the WebSphere administrative console to display administrative lists of JMS resources provided by a messaging provider other than the default messaging provider or WebSphere MQ.
Overview
Use the WebSphere administrative console to display lists of the following types of JMS resources provided by a generic messaging provider. Use the panels displayed to select JMS resources to administer, or to create or delete JMS resources (where appropriate).
To display administrative lists of JMS resources for a generic messaging provider, complete the following general steps:
Procedure
- Start the WebSphere administrative console.
- In the navigation pane, click Resources > JMS Providers > Generic
- If appropriate, in the content pane, change the scope of the generic messaging provider. If the scope is set to node or server scope for a V5 node, the administrative console presents the subset of resources and properties that are applicable to WAS Version 5.
- In the content pane, under Additional Resources, click the link for the type of JMS resource. This displays a list of any existing resources of the selected type. For more information about the settings panels displayed for resources, see the related reference topics.
