Configure J2C connection factories in the administrative console

 

  1. Click...

    Resources | Resource Adapters | resource adapter | J2C Connection Factories | New

  2. Specify General Properties.

  3. Select the authentication preference.

  4. Select aliases for component-managed authentication, container-managed authentication, or both. If none are available, or you want to define a different one, click...

    Apply | J2C Auth Data Entries | New

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click the J2C connection factory you just created.

  7. Under Additional Properties click Connection Pool.

  8. Change any values desired by clicking the property name.

  9. Click OK.

  10. Click Custom Properties under Additional Properties.

  11. Click any property name to change its value. Note that UserName and Password if present, are overridden by the component-managed authentication alias you specified in a previous step.

  12. Click Save.
