Server Editor

The server editor is where you define how to reach a Tivoli Directory Integrator server.

One server is always defined by the CE and is named "Default". In the Tivoli Directory Integrator servers view we can add new ones to our project.

Server Document editor

The server API address is the host:port address of the Tivoli Directory Integrator server. If you specify the installation directory, the CE can launch the server. Before launching a new Tivoli Directory Integrator server you configure all parameters and use the Create Solution Directory button to create the necessary files for the server. You should also use the Create MQe Directory and Open MQe Configuration buttons to verify the settings of the MQe engine.

When we have a solution directory but no MQe directory, we can press Create MQe Directory. This will create the directory and show a dialog when it has completed.

Once we have an MQe directory we can edit the configuration file. Click Edit MQe Configuration to bring up the default (text) editor.
