Using Virtual Member Manager tracing

Virtual Member Manger uses the WebSphere Application Server trace facilities to create trace information. If you need detailed trace output of Virtual Member Manger to debug a problem, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Administrative Console.
  2. Go to section Troubleshooting > Logs and Traces > WebSphere_Portal > Diagnostic Trace.
  3. Make sure that the check box Enable Log is selected.
  4. Under the Additional Properties section, click on Change Log Detail Levels. Enter com.ibm.websphere.wmm.*=all:com.ibm.ws.wmm.*=all:WSMM=all in the text box:
  5. Click OK and save the changes to the master configuration.
  6. Restart WebSphere Portal Express.
