Creating database schema names

This section provides information on setting up SQL Server 2005 for WebSphere Portal Express.

After creating the databases and users, create the recommended schema names with the SQL Server 2005 Management Studio.

  1. Connect to your SQL Server 2005 instance.

  2. Expand SQL Server instance > Databases.

  3. Expand the corresponding database and select Security.

  4. Right-click on Schemas and select New Schema....

  5. Enter a schema name.

  6. Enter the name of the user that will use that schema in the Schema owner field.

  7. Click OK to save your changes.
