Confirming installation of Domino and Extended Products Portlets components

Make sure that your portal includes the .WAR files containing Domino^® and Extended Products Portlets and the .XML file that deploys the portlets and sample pages.

The installation program for WebSphere Portal Express installs the Domino and Extended Products Portlets onto portal pages.

This topic describes how to confirm that the Domino and Extended Products Portlets are properly installed.

Components

The installation program adds the following Domino and Extended Products Portlets to your portal environment. If your portal does not include portlets on the Domino Integration > My Page and Domino Integration > My Team pages, perform the following procedure.

• Check the portal server for the presence of the following files. The .WAR files contain the parent portlets from which portlet instances deployed on the Domino Integration page are derived. Look for the files in the following directory:

  portal_server_root/InstalledApps/

  portal_server_root_user/InstalledApps/

• If you determine that any of the files are missing, contact IBM Support.

Post-install operations

There are no required post-install operations for the Domino and Extended Products Portlets components.
