Set the search user ID

To set the search user ID, proceed by the following steps:

  1. Open the IBM® WebSphere® Application Server administrative console.
  2. Select Applications > Enterprise Applications.
  3. Look for the application WebScanner.Ear.ear. It is listed under the name PSEStandalone.
  4. Enter this application and click Map security roles to users and groups.
  5. Select the role SearchUser and click on Lookup users.
  6. On the portal that accesses the EJB, search for the user ID that is set as the WebSphere Application Server Admin User. For example, you can find this ID in the Administrative Console.
  7. Back on the Administrative Console of the machine where the EJB is installed, type this user ID as the Search String and click Search. As a result, the user ID and its configuration parameters are displayed in the Available box.
  8. Add this user ID to the Selected box by clicking the double-angled bracket > > .
  9. Click OK to save your updates.
  10. Restart the WebSphere Application Server on which the PSEStandalone is installed.
