Configure application component and template preferences
We can configure the location of the local download folder. The download folder is the place where IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation searches for MobileFirst project templates and application components whenever we add an application component to a project or create a project from a template.
Use the default folder <USER_HOME>/IBM/templates, or we can specify an alternative folder. To use an alternative folder, we must specify it before you create application components and templates.
- In MobileFirst Studio, click Window > Preferences.
- In the left panel, click MobileFirst > Templates and Components.
- In the right panel, click Browse, and then select the folder to use as the download folder.
