Explanation

Ping error.

A ping operation can only be issued for a sender or server channel. If the local channel is a receiver channel, we must issue the ping from a remote queue manager.

Programmer response

Reissue the ping request for a different channel of the correct type, or for a receiver channel from a different queue manager.
