Auditing

We can check for security intrusions, or attempted intrusions, by using event messages. We can also check the security of our system by using the IBM MQ Explorer.

To detect attempts to perform unauthorized actions such as connecting to a queue manager or put a message on a queue, inspect the event messages produced by your queue managers, particularly authority event messages. See Queue manager events, and Event monitoring.
