Preparing JMS programs for the IBM MQ client for HP Integrity NonStop Server

This topic explains what we need to know before you develop and run JMS programs for the IBM MQ client for HP Integrity NonStop Server.

The IBM MQ classes for JMS are installed as part of the IBM MQ client for HP Integrity NonStop Server installation. For details of a summary of the contents of the installation, see File system.

Some aspects of client functionality are specific to the host operating system. For more information about the supported features for the IBM MQ client for HP Integrity NonStop Server, see IBM MQ client for HP Integrity NonStop Server supported environments and features.


Prerequisites

To build and run JMS applications, the HP Integrity NonStop Server for Java component must be installed and available.


Setup

For information about setting up the environment to run and build applications in which we can use the IBM MQ classes for JMS, see Set environment variables.
