Configure the z/OS system for IBM MQ

Use these topics as a step by step guide for customizing the IBM MQ for z/OS system.

• Identify the z/OS system parameters
  Some of the tasks involve updating the z/OS system parameters. We need to know which ones were specified when the system IPL was performed.
• APF authorize the IBM MQ load libraries
  APF-authorize various libraries. Some load modules might already be authorized.
• Update the z/OS link list and LPA
  Update the LPA libraries with the new version of early code libraries. Other code can go in the link list or the LPA.
• Update the z/OS program properties table
  Some additional PPT entries are needed for the IBM MQ queue manager.
