The dashboard controls

Use the controls at the top of the dashboard to enable IBM MQ Console tracing, access the online help, view information about the IBM MQ Console, and log out of the IBM MQ Console.

About this task

The dashboard controls apply to general features of the IBM MQ Console.

Procedure

• Access the IBM Knowledge Center for IBM MQ by clicking the help icon .
• Click the menu icon to import, export, or reset the dashboard. For more information, see Configure dashboard layouts.
• Click the settings icon to enable or disable diagnostic trace for the IBM MQ Console.
• View information about the IBM MQ Console, including information about the user that is logged in, by clicking the person icon and selecting About.
• Log out of the IBM MQ Console by clicking Logout. This option is not available if you are logged in to the IBM MQ Console by a client certificate, or if the security configuration sample no_security.xml is used.
