Work with bookmarks programmatically
Using the Atom Publishing Protocol, also known as AtomPub, you can create or update bookmark collections.
Create bookmarks in the Bookmarks application
To create a bookmark, send an Atom entry document containing the new bookmark to the bookmarks feed.Delete bookmarks from the Bookmarks application
To delete a bookmark, use the HTTP DELETE method.Getting bookmarks from the Bookmarks application
To retrieve a bookmark, use the edit link found in the bookmark entry in the bookmarks feed.Update bookmarks in the Bookmarks application
To update a bookmark, send a replacement bookmark entry document in Atom format to the existing bookmark's edit web address.
