Testing Home page widgets
As administrator, you can test new widgets before they are deployed to your users.
About this task
The administration user interface provides a check box which, when enabled, causes all widgets (including disabled ones) to display on the administrator's Home page. This allows the administrator to test newly deployed widgets without making them available to the user base.
Procedure
To test Home page widgets...
- Open the Administration page.
- Select the Test Mode check box to allow disabled widgets to display on the Home page.
Note: When an IBM Connections application is selected as a prerequisite for a widget, but that application is not installed, then the widget won't display on the Home page in test mode.
