Searching for information
Use the search control in the title bar to search for information from the Home page.
You can perform a quick search or an advanced search from the Home page. A quick search searches against one or more keywords. You can search a single feature or all the features that are included in your deployment. An advanced search allows you to specify two or more features to search. When you perform this type of search, you can search all public content from IBM Lotus Connections or just the content that is related to you. You can also filter the search results using different criteria.
To search for information from the Home page:
- To perform a quick search:
- Click the down arrow next to the search control and select one of the following options:
- Select All Connections to search all of the Lotus Connections features. This option is selected by default.
- Select a specific feature to search that feature only.
- Enter one or more keywords to search for in the text field.
- Click Search.
- To perform an advanced search, click the down arrow next to the search control and select Advanced Search.
