If LC is already installed, but you did not select the mobile option, rerun the installation wizard and select the mobile option to install it now.

For VPN access, IBM recommends using IBM Lotus Mobile Connect.
Install SSL signer certificates on mobile devices
If you are not using signer certificates from standard certificate authorities, install your non-CA signer certificates to your mobile devices.
This step is not required if you are using certificates from a standard certificate authority such as VeriSign.
- Apple iPhone and iPod Touch
- Send an e-mail to your users with the certificate provided as an attachment.
- Ask your users to open the attachment from the device.
- When they do, the device recognizes it, and installs the certificate.
- Devices that run on the Symbian operating system
Refer to the documentation for the device to find out how to install certificates.

Configuration
The mobile package is installed on the application server as a separate EAR file, with no associated database or content store.
Data is retrieved from the Activities, Blogs, and Profiles features as required.
