Testing widgets
As administrator, you can test new widgets before they are deployed to your users.
The administration user interface provides a check box which, when enabled, causes all widgets (including disabled ones) to display on the administrator's Home page. This allows the administrator to test newly deployed widgets without making them available to the user base.To test Home page widgets...
- Open the Administration page.
- Select the Test Mode check box to allow disabled widgets to display on the Home page.
When an IBM Lotus Connections feature is selected as a prerequisite for a widget, but that feature is not installed, then the widget won't display on the Home page in test mode.
