Retrieving activity nodes
To retrieve an activity entry, use the edit link found in the corresponding activity node in the user's My Activities feed.
This request returns the entire entry, not just a summary of the entry. You can use this operation to obtain information about an activity entry that you want to preserve prior to performing an update.
The types of activity nodes that you use to create entries changed between version 1.0.x and version 2.0. For example, in 1.0.x, to create an entry that included a bookmark or file, you posted an entry node of type bookmark or of type file. In 2.0, to create an entry that includes a bookmark or file, post an entry node of type entry and include a field of the appropriate type, link or file respectively, in that entry. You can continue to retrieve entries of every node type using the version 2.0 APIs, but you cannot update or create entries that were created in 1.0.x using the bookmark, file, or comment node types.
