BWMCR8378E: The test connection to the management server failed. Unable to contact the management server. The management agent could not remove its registration from the management server.
Explanation
The uninstallation program cannot remove the registration of the agent from the management server. Possible causes for this failure are that information is incorrect in the endpoint properties, the management server is down, the management server cannot be contacted, or the management server was uninstalled.
The uninstall completes but management agent does not unregister from the management server.
Operator response
If the management server was uninstalled, no action is needed.
If management server is still in use, archive the management agent that failed to unregister so that it does not display in the user interface. To archive the management agent take the following action:
On the console and go to System Administration->Work With Agents, select the agent that was uninstalled and choose Archive from the pull down menu.
