HTTP server log files
Rotate the HTTP server log files, created by the IBM HTTP Server (IHS) or Apache HTTP server running on the same node with the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics Managing Server. (This is necessary on Linux, but is recommended on other supported Managing Server platforms as well.)
The crontab and the script (rotate-apache-logs.sh) must be edited before they are used, and the APACHE_HOME variable must be defined correctly. The crontab must be run as the person who controls the HTTP server processes and has permissions to delete server log files (often the root user).
