Configure the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console

The Managing Server's Tivoli Enterprise Console integration feature includes a configuration file that can be imported into the console to define an ITCAM for Application Diagnostics event group and filter.

  1. Open the Tivoli Enterprise Console. Log in as required.

  2. Click Windows > Configuration.

  3. Click File > Import.

  4. Click Browse to select the file am_event_group.cfg.

  5. Click Select.

  6. Select AM in the center pane and click OK.

  7. Click OK and restart the console.

  8. Click Event Groups to see the new AM Event Group.

  9. To use the AM event group, assign it to a console. See the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console User's Guide for instructions. The operators for that console will now see AM in their summary chart view and event viewer.

  10. Tivoli Enterprise Console is now configured.
