Requirements for integrating with Tivoli Enterprise Console
ITCAM for Application Diagnostics supports the following Tivoli server platforms:
- Microsoft Windows Server
- Sun Solaris
- IBM AIX
- HP-UX
The following Tivoli software is required:
- Tivoli Framework 3.7.1 or above
- Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC) Server 3.8 or above
- TEC UI Server 3.8 or above
- TEC Console 3.8 or above
One of the following Tivoli software components are required:
- TEC 3.8 or above non-TME SNMP Adapter
- TEC 3.8 or above Adapter Configuration Facility
Identify one system as the SNMP Adapter host, which accepts SNMP traps from ITCAM for Application Diagnostics, adapts them to TEC Events and forwards them to a TEC Server. The supported platforms for the SNMP Adapter host are the same as for the Tivoli server. To avoid interference, it is recommended that the system running the SNMP Adapter not run any other SNMP agent on the same UDP port.
