Post-installation tasks

Perform the following steps:

1. Restart the instance of WAS to be used by the Managing Server.

2. If you have installed a Web server, set it up to forward requests to the Managing Server by regenerating the Web server plugin. Perform the following procedure:

   1. Create a new Web server definition. Follow the instructions at one of the following Web sites:
   2. 6.0.x (non-Network Deployment environment)
      • 6.0.x (ND)
      • 6.1 (non-ND)
      • 6.1 (ND)
      • 7.0 (non-ND)
      • 7.0 (ND)

   3. In the WAS administrative console, go to Server > Web servers.

   4. Select the Web server check box.

   5. Click Generate Plug-in.

   6. Restart the Web server.

   7. Start the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics Managing Server.

   8. Verify that the Managing Server components are enabled and running.

   9. Perform the tasks described in each of the following sections, if applicable.
