Export data for problem analysis for silent installations
You can generate a compressed file that contains data for problem analysis that you encounter as you perform silent installations. IBM Software Support can use this file to help troubleshoot a problem.
This task is for exporting problem analysis data when you encounter issues performing silent installations. You can also export using a wizard .
On a computer with Installation Manager installed, to export installation data for problem analysis:
cd eclipse\tools
./imutilsc exportInstallData outputFileNameWhere outputFileName is the name of the file to be generated that contains the exported data in a .zip file format.
Include quotation marks around filepaths that have spaces.
A compressed file that contains the installation data is created.
