Export data for problem analysis

This task is for exporting problem analysis data when you encounter difficulties performing installations using the Installation Manager wizard. To perform this task silently, see Export data for problem analysis for silent installations .


Procedure

To export installation data for problem analysis:

  1. In Installation Manager, go to Help > Export Data for Problem Analysis.
  2. In the Export Installation Data window, click Browse to select a directory location for the .zip file.
  3. Enter a name for the .zip file.
  4. Click OK.


Results

A .zip file that contains the installation data is created.
