Uninstall Installation Manager silently

Use the uninstall script to silently uninstall Installation Manager. Before we uninstall Installation Manager, we must uninstall all the packages that were installed by Installation Manager. Close Installation Manager before you start the uninstall process.

The uninstall script is stored in the Installation Manager uninstall directory.

Procedure

To silently uninstall Installation Manager:

  1. On a command line, change to the \\agent_data_directory\uninstall directory for Installation Manager. For the default locations for the agent data directory, see the following table.

    If we did not use a default location for the agent data directory, see Agent data location.

    OS X /Applications/IBM/Installation Manager /Users/user_home/var/IBM/Installation Manager /Users/user_home/var/IBM/InstallationManager_Group

  2. Enter the command:

    Operating system Administrator Nonadministrator Group
    Windows uninstallc.exe userinstc.exe Not available.
    Linux, UNIX, IBM i, IBM z/OS, and the Mac OS X ./uninstallc ./uninstallc ./uninstallc

    Group mode is not supported on IBM i.
