Set SSL/TLS preferences in console mode (imcl -c)

We can set preferences for SSL/TLS in console mode.

Procedure

  1. Start Installation Manager in console mode: imcl -c. For more information, see Start IIM in console mode.

  2. Enter P: Preferences

  3. Enter 4: SSL/TLS

  4. Enter 1: Nonsecure SSL Mode. By default, nonsecure SSL mode is disabled as indicated with [ ]. When nonsecure SSL mode is enabled, an X shows in the brackets.

    1. Enter 2: Permanent.
    When nonsecure SSL mode is selected, the Session option is selected by default. When the Session option is selected, nonsecure SSL mode is enabled only for this session of Installation Manager. The next time Installation Manager is started, nonsecure SSL mode is not enabled. When the Permanent option is checked, nonsecure SSL mode remains enabled the next time you start Installation Manager.
  5. Enter A: Apply to apply changes.
