Configure the selected objects
To configure the business object, you specify information about the object, such as name for the business object and the directory in which it has to be stored.
Verify that you have selected and imported the business function.
To configure the business object, use the following procedure.
Procedure
- In the Specify Composite Properties window of the external service wizard, review the list of operations. This list contains all the operations that the adapter supports for the outbound services for all business objects that you selected in the previous window.
- In the Business object namespace field, accept the default namespace (http://www.ibm.com/xmlns/prod/wbi/j2ca/siebel)
or type the full name of another namespace. If you are adding the business object to an existing module and the module already includes that business object (from an earlier run of the external service wizard), change the namespace value.
For example, you can change the namespace to http://www.ibm.com/xmlns/prod/wbi/j2ca/siebel.

- Optionally, in Folder, type the relative path to the folder where the generated business objects are to be stored.
If you are creating multiple adapter artifacts within a module, ensure that you specify different business object folders for each adapter within the module.
For example, if you are creating artifacts for Oracle, JDBC, SAP, and JDE within a module, you need to create different relative folders for each of these adapters. If you do not specify different relative folders, the existing artifacts are overwritten when you generate new artifacts.
- If you want the business object or business objects to be enclosed within a business graph, select the Generate a business graph for each business object check box.
- If you want the business object or business objects to be generated with shorter names, select the Generate business objects with shorter names check box.
- Click Next.
Results
You have specified a name for the top-level business object. If you have completed the optional steps, then you also have specified a location where the business object is stored, whether the business object is enclosed with a business graph, and whether the business object is generated with a shorter name. The Specify the Service Generation and Deployment Properties window is displayed.
What to do next
Continue working in the wizard. The next step is to specify the information for generating the artifacts. Generate a deployable module that includes the adapter and the business objects.
