Use an otherwise condition
An otherwise condition is used in a decision table for situations when the specified conditions will not be met. The otherwise condition cause a rule to fire when no other evaluation can be resolved.
Configure an otherwise condition as follows:
Procedure
- Configure your decision table so that at least two of your conditions have been defined.
- Right-click a conditions cell, and select Add Condition Otherwise from the list.
Results
A new value appears on the condition called Otherwise. It will always be the last value shown, and only one otherwise is allowed per condition. You cannot make a template from the otherwise condition.
