Delete event definitions
By default, the event definition editor displays one event definition for each event definition file. However, if you are working with an event definition file that contains multiple event definitions and you want to delete one or more of the event definitions, you can set a preference that will enable you to delete the event definitions in the event definition editor.
Before you can delete event definitions from an event definition file, first enable the preference as described in the topic "Enabling multiple event definition capability in the event definition editor."
To remove event definitions from an event definition file:
Procedure
- Open an existing event definition file as described in the topic "Opening existing event definitions."
- In the event definition editor, click the left margin of the event definition that you want to delete.
- At the top of the event definition editor, click the Remove Event Definition icon
. The event definition is deleted.
