Downloading files from an appliance

Use the Transfer Files tab to download files from an appliance to a WebSphere DataPower library defined in an IBM Integration Designer project.

Procedure

1. Open the DataPower Appliances view and switch to the Transfer Files tab.

2. Specify the WebSphere DataPower library you want to place the files in. You can use the DataPower library field to select an existing library, or click New Library to create a new one.

3. The Transfer directory field is initialized with the root directory. If you want to download files into the root directory, skip to the next step. Otherwise, type or browse for the specific subdirectory where you want to place the downloaded files.

4. In the Appliances field, select the appliance that contains the files you plan to download.

5. In the Domain field, select the appliance domain.

6. In the Root directory field, select the root directory that contains the necessary files. There are three available options: local:, temporary:, and store:.

7. If necessary, use the Transfer directory field to specify the subdirectory that contains the files.

8. If you want to automatically overwrite any existing resources in the library with the downloaded files, select the Overwrite existing resources without warning option.
9. Download the files with one of the following methods.

   • Click << Transfer All to download all files in the selected directory.

   • Select a subset of files and then click < Transfer.
