Configure components
You can configure individual components for IBM BPM.
Components can be configured in one of three ways:
- Some IBM BPM components can be configured at profile creation time. This is particularly the case for a stand-alone server, for which most of the components may be configured at profile creation time.
- For an ND cell, components may be configured by building and generating a Deployment Environment. By setting up a Deployment Environment, you build server clusters and configure the IBM BPM components on them.
Deployment Environments are not available for a stand-alone server.
- The IBM BPM servers and clusters (and the components that run on them) can be configured individually, using either the administrative console or administrative scripts.
This information in this section describes how to configure individual components for IBM BPM.
- Configure additional components
If the following components have not been configured, configure them before you can run IBM BPM.
- Configure optional components
If you want to use the following components and they have not been configured, configure them.
