IBM BPM, V8.0.1, All platforms > Install and configure IBM BPM > IBM BPM Advanced: Process Server > Install and configure IBM BPM Advanced: Process Server > On Windows > Network deployment environment > Configure profiles and create an ND environmentCreate an ND environment
After you have finished installation and created the dmgr and custom profiles, you can build an ND configuration. For each cell, you create a deployment manager profile and one or more custom (managed node) profiles. You can then create the deployment configuration that you want. You can configure the deployment environment using the deployment environment wizard, the command line, or the administrative console.
- Configure an ND environment using the Deployment Environment wizard
After performing a Custom installation and creating the dmgr and custom (managed node) profiles, you can create an ND configuration based on the topology pattern templates packaged with the software.- Create deployment environments using the command line
You can use the wsadmin command to create a Process Server and Process Center deployment environment. The createDeploymentEnvDef and generateDeploymentEnv commands provide a command-line equivalent to creating the deployment environment using the deployment environment wizard.
- Create a custom ND environment using the administrative console
After you perform a custom installation and create the dmgr and custom (managed node) profiles, you can create the servers and clusters required for an ND environment using the administrative console. This configuration is recommended only for advanced scenarios.
